Dad, I miss you....

One year ago while at work I got the call. It was my brother telling me to come to the hospital. Dad wasn’t in the best of health, but you never think that this would be it. He wasn’t the best father of all time. He did instill in me the love for reading that I hold to this day. What I regret is that he never saw the house my fiancee and I bought. He won’t be there for our wedding. Never again will we cruise the bookstores or discuss our favorite books and authors. As I think back over the times we shared, I consider myself fortunate for having him as my father. I know that this may sound sappy but, if your parents are still with you call them and tell them thank you for what they have done and that you love them. You don’t ever want to be in the position of wanting just five more minutes with them. Thanks, I feel a little better…:frowning:

you should go and see a spiritualist medium. you will be pleasantly suprised. there is no guarantee that your father will try to contact you tho.

you may laugh, but dont knock it until you have tried it!!

I don’t know about a spiritualist medium, but my thoughts are with you. You have some good memories with your father and those matter.
