Daisy's big day in

Well, today is the first day Daisy will have to try and make it all day without either me or the Mullinatrix around. Frankly, we are both pretty choked up over leaving our good pup alone for the day, mainly because we know how much she thrives on human contact. Ugh, I feel like a total heel. I think I’ll go lambast myself now.

Hope you’ve given her a lot o’ stuff with which to amuse herself. Puppies can be very inventive when left to their own devices…my dog, now 12, once ate through about 75 floppies one day when she was a bored puppy.

Daisy! Hi! It’s big uncle Coldfire here. Now listen to me. Remember how Mully made you piss on my photograph? Good. Now, because we’re both so mad that he left you there all alone, we’re gonna play a little joke on him.

I want you to walk into the living room, and sit on the brand new carpet. Then, just pretend it’s a photo of Coldfire!

Mulyl will be so pleased to learn you remembered that trick.

Coldfire, you may soon be receiving a 25 pound package in the mail. It’ll have some airholes, but don’t worry. When you open it up, be sure to have your head near the opening. That way you can see the surprise that much sooner.

Mull, you’re last post brought to mind that movie short (was it in a Stephen King movie??!!) of the big chained wooden box found under the stairs of some old building. Said “don’t open” and all that, IIRC.

Anway, doofus had to open it up and this thing with teeth grabbed him and basically pulled him in the box and ate him.

Left me scarred for life.

Must’ve seen that when I was about 12 or so.

My favorite “ticked off dog at being left alone” story happened in college. This girl’s dog took at least a pound of dirt out of a plant pot in one corner of her living room, carried it a mouthful at a time to the easy chair in the other corner, and when she had a nice big pile of dirt in the middle of the cushion, she pissed all over it. No misunderstanding that message!

BunnyGirl : Creepshow, it was. The Thing Under The Stairs, IIRC.
