Damn I love this town!

Moving to San Diego was the best thing that ever happened to me.

(Um, I dunno, just wanted to share…)

I’m jealous (having visited the place once and loving it myself (except for freeway driving (Eek!))) but I’m glad you live somewhere you love, Esprix.

And to think, you’re so close to all us wunnerful L.A. Dopers!

(I wish I had more of a chance to talk to you at the Dopefest. You’re such a sweetie.)

I love it too! I try to get down there at least once a year (not nearly enough).
The Bazaar del Mundo, the State Historic Park, birdbath margaritas, all that Mexican food, the Gaslamp Quarter, the Horton Plaza, Villa Serena Bed and Breakfast, Pt. Loma, Cabrillo National Monument, Hornblower cruises, Coronado–the Hotel Del!!, that Greek restaurant on Rosecrans, Pannakin, the missions, Balboa Park and its giant pipe organ and museums, okay, I’ll stop now.
It rules!!

Oh, yeah, there are some fun places to go, but there are other reasons to love this town…

Sorry, just had to resurrect this thread, as I want to reiterate - I love love love this town. Today, in absolutely perfect weather (which we have, BTW, every single day of the year) I walked down a quaint little street to a charming shopping district (where I can find everything I need without having to drive to a mall), bought a delicious lunch (Mexican), walked one block to a tree-lined, shaded side street and sat on a bench and ate it while reading a book.

Perfect.

And I could do this every single day if I wanted to.

Day-um I love this town!

Next post: Cute Mexi boys galore!

Why do I love this town?

Two words:

Military Uniforms.

They’re everywhere. God, I love a man in uniform.
