I trusted you, Hotmail, and you have betrayed me. Sure, I can see in retrospect that I should not have kept all of my email addresses and correspondence on that one account. But who else could I turn to? My stupid college won’t give me an address because I’m not full-time, and this one had worked so well for the last 2 years, and I could check it from any of the computers I use, I thought it would be alright…But I was naive. No free service can last forever.
Rommel(what kind of a name is Rommel, anyway?), you cannot possibly understand what this means. That account contains (I suppose I should say contained) registrations and passwords whose paper counterparts have long since been lost in the abyss that is my desk. And not for trivial things either, but for financial aid for next year and for my next college’s application. My physics professor emailed me the homework problems for Monday, and email I never received. Rather than doing my homework this weekend, I will have to think of every important person I have given my email address to in the last year and try to contact them, and it is a very long list. I only had email addresses for some of these people…Addresses in the address book in my Hotmail account…
And you have the arrogance to expect me to start a new account with you??? Are you out of your fucking mind???
