They announced that we should come back for some special Plants vs. Zombies goodness on Oct. 30. I was thinking there would be some add-on content, or a variant version of the game like the Extreme version they did of Peggle. Nope. No downloadable content, just a 50% discount on a game I already bought.

I’ve already beaten this game several times. One of my trees is 1000 ft. tall. There’s nothing worth spending money on except rakes. Is it too much to ask to just be able to subscribe to Crazy Dave’s rake placement service? How about a tool that will allow you to move a plant already placed? Or an 11th seed slot? I’d be willing to pay up to $999,990 for any of these, because what the hell else am I going to do with the dough? Hey, what about allowing me to exchange plants with other users?

Nope. Discount. Bastards.

I was hoping to see a little more content in this thread, since I just started PvZ and I’m hooked.

I LOL’d the first time Michael Jackson popped out of the ground. That is just so wrong.

When you’ve exhausted everything you can do in the game, I think you’ll also be pining for new content.

Note that nobody had any idea Michael Jackson would soon be dead when the game came out.

They could at least have done some holiday-themed flash animations. And, hey, did you know that now having a traffic cone on your head now counts as a Halloween costume? Well, for those in the know it is.
