BTW, adding a splash or two of vanilla to the Rice Krispie treats (with or without chocolate) makes them taste really good.
Tried the Rice Krispies with whole milk.
Still bland.
Feh. Next time, it’s Frosted Flakes. They’re grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
They used to make a frosted Rice Krispies; maybe that’s what you remember having as a kid? I don’t remember Rice Krispies ever being anything but bland.
