Dance song with a brass section

I heard this song yesterday, at the gym, and don’t know what it is. It was a dance track, modem, with all the remixing shenanigans and whatnot going on, but it was based around what sounded like big band music blaring something with a heavy brass section, except the remix was having it cut in and out like there was a certain volume at which the music could make it through, but if the band didn’t hit that mark, the notes wouldn’t make it through. So it was sort of like listening to music at a distance, with it sometimes coming to you and sometimes not, depending on which way the winds blowing.

Female vocals.

Any idea what song this was?

Maybe “Clap Your Hands?”

After I clicked on this link the next song that YouTube suggested was

Miami Horror - I Look To You (ft. Kimbra) (official HD)

It has something that sounds to me like a brass section, but it could be synthesized.

Neither of those. The music would entirely cut out, not just muted, and no instrument in the song was sticking out (e.g. a lead trumpet). It was a pretty strong block of noise.

Clicked through a set of 30ish songs by Parov Stelar. None of those.

Target song did not have a beat that stood out as strongly as most of his stuff.

“This Girl” by Kungs vs. Cookin’ on 3 Burners? This song was big several months ago.

Nope, that’s jazz not big band and doesn’t have the music cutting in and out by volume. They’re muting it a bit for coolness, but it’s not as consistent as the target song.

It appears that there’s many millions of electro swing songs (nearly all of which sound exactly the same), so unless someone exactly recognizes the description, this may take me some brute force to track down. :frowning:

Okay, well the synths sounded more like brass on the speakers at our gym, but this is the song I was going for (if anyone was curious):

Darn it, I missed the “female vocals” part. But I managed to find this so I’m sharing it anyway  Jason Derulo, “Talk Dirty”.
