This Dancing with the Stars spinoff starts tonight. My hopes are muted, but I’ll tune in at least once – it might turn out to be entertaining…
I’d watch if they’d actually fight. Bruno might scratch Carrie Ann’s eyes out.
If the writers’ strike lasts long enough, they may do that for Season 2.
It would at least make more sense than throwing “singing” into the mix – which they tried, and failed, to explain the rationale for.
So how was it? I watched about five minutes before I wandered off. I found the whole “Bring it!” attitude of the show annoying as hell so I bailed. Did I miss anything remotely entertaining?
Um, no, actually. Except the shot of the auditions with someone in a gorilla suit, and Carrie Ann saying “actually, the gorilla is pretty good…”
Ten seconds out of a two-hour show isn’t much of a return on investment, though.
Could someone enlighten me as to who Bruno and Carrie Ann are? I never got to watch Dancing With The Stars, so I have no idea who these two are or why we should care…
