Danica Patrick the first woman to win an Indy race

I’m down for a hot female like Danica in NASCAR…It’s just the whole “Upper Body Strength” thing gets in the way.
So I’m afraid the first Sprint cup female will not be a beauty queen. (Although there was that one cute blonde that drove Nationwide a few years back)

Montoya’s shown a lot better than Mr. Judd, and while I hate to draw too many conclusions based on restrictor plate performance, I’d say he’s close to putting an oval win together after Sunday’s run. The thing that’s holding him back the most now is the equipment, honestly. Ganassi’s Cup teams have never had the strength his open-wheel programs have.

If he can get the same quality car he had at the Brickyard last year, he’s a threat to win there, and that’ll probably translate to running well at Pocono and New Hampshire. I’d throw Richmond and Atlanta in the mix as well, with Atlanta the most likely because his style seems to fit there. He’s very much a high-line driver like Junior, and being able to work the high side at Atlanta is vital.

Danica’s win was extremely predictable if you watched the race (and judging by the ratings, it was me and about eight others). She had the motor leaned out as much as possible that last stint, and she was well off the pace compared to the leaders. If Helio backs off five laps earlier, she never gets around him.

That said, I think she’ll win again. With few exceptions, a driver who finally breaks through with a win can get another one, especially when that win comes with a top team. The challenge for Danica will be when Newman/Haas/Lanigan and KV Racing get ovals figured out and the Big 3 becomes the Big 5. Suddenly she’ll have 11 other drivers to beat instead of seven.

IOW, you had no convincing argument.

You base this on…what exactly?

Huh? A league could have rules that say the equipment must be the same, while driver physical differences are part of what they’re contesting. If Indy wants to eliminate a weight advantage, that’s fine, but there’s nothing inherently unfair about a weight advantage.

In baseball, the bats have to fit within certain parameters, but they don’t force adjustments after that based on a players physical advantage. Boxing gloves have to meet certain standards, but they don’t adjust them to how hard a boxer punches. There would be nothing unfair about a car having to meet certain weight standards while letting the drivers keep the physical advantages they were born with.

So you have nothing.

She’ll definitely win again- it may be the six people ahead of her pitting and then right before she does the race gets called due to rain or something, but it’ll happen.

Like Dario’s win at Indy last year?

Incidentally, Danica might have a legitimate shot at the Borg-Warner Trophy this year. Her ability to set a car up has improved exponentially over previous years, as evidenced by Kanaan taking her setup for his car at Kansas. Indy’s all about getting the setup right for race day, and if she can hit that combination, along with her ability to make fuel (seriously, she’s one of the best I’ve seen at it in a long time) she’s got a good shot.

You accused me of stalking you. Can you please support this?

You may want to look up the definition for the word “apparently.”

Also, you have not offered any kind of argument whatsoever to explain how or why the following would be fair:
