For years I bought yoplait or dannon plain, because the already sweetened fruity yogurt is
so cloyingly sweet it’s like eating frosting. So I’d just mix a spoonful of apricot or cherry jam, or a little honey…delicious snack that’s not like having a bowl of pudding.
Of course now the plain is getting harder and harder to find, the powers that be have decided that
we need to have a glycemic spike when we’d like to snack on yogurt.
Don’t drizzle a bit of honey on that.
(It also makes a lovely exfoliating facial mask.)
Dannon has vanilla, and also honey yogurt. In the fall, pumpkin pie and maple flavors. People use plain in cooking all the time, no shortage of that AFAIK.
