Then he casts his daughter in another movie where she’s nude again, but now violently raped on two separate occasions, punched, beaten, cut with knives…
Is this not a tad disturbing?

Their relationship has indeed been speculated on quite a bit, and was briefly talked about in the recent documentary **A Eye For Horror. **. I haven’t seen it yet, but I understand that Asia becomes quite uncomfortable and ambivlent when discussing her rape/torture scenes in **The Stendahl Syndrome **.
It’s important to keep in mind that neither her nude scenes nor these rape scenes are very graphic. Her topless shot in Trauma is pretty brief (though she was only 16 or 17 at the time it was filmed) and the two rape scenes she does in Stendahl Syndrome are non-nude and also fairly brief…nothing like **I Spit On Your Grave ** or anything like that.
Dario always comes off in interviews as a nice, unassuming guy. His daughter, however, always acts like a psychotic-nymphomaniac flake.
