Darth Vader Burgers have black buns

Belgian fast food chain creates new burgers to celebrate Phantom Menace 3D.

The have the Dark Burger, the Jedi Burger and the Darth Vader Burger. The Darth Vader Burger has black food dye in the buns. I suppose they taste normal enough. But wow.

If you’re in France after Jan. 31st, let us know how they taste.

“I Find your lack of Pickles disturbing…”

I was wondering if they were going to release 3D versions of Star Wars.

I prefer Darth Vader’s breakfast fair myself.

Man, you guys need to read the comments below that article. Comedy gold!

Heh. Betcha there will be at least a dozen people heading to the ER when they see their poop the next day!

Just wanted to say that “Black Buns” has always been one of my favorite magazines.

There’s got to be a better way than simple black food coloring. I made a hockey puck cake last year and everyone could tell who ate some. That stuff stains. Maybe it’s pumpernickel with a little extra black.

Bring back C-3PO’s!

Best comments section for a Yahoo news article ever!

However, I’m disappointed they are using dye instead of squid ink

I’ve seen womp rats back home more appealing than that.

And yes, I ran through five pages of comments. A fair bit of repeats but lots of good Star Wars humor. And not a single comment about Bush or Obama or terrorists or the evil federal gubmint taking away our rights.

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions and I am your father.

Shouldn’t they be named Michelle Obama-Burgers?

Regards,
Shodan

It’s been done. Hot and spicy!

All too queasy.

You will never find a more wretched burger… you must be cautious.

celebrating the release of the Phantom Menace 3d? why?

Given what we saw of him before he was armored at the end of Revenge of the Sith, I would venture to say that Darth Vader does, in fact, have black buns.

The very fact that he survived is amazing.
Think about the shock fatality of such wounds.
Anakin lost … what a hand and two legs? (Please correct me here)
And obviously had severe and incurable lung damage.

He is one of the most iconic figures in the last 30+ years.
I think of him as the hero of the story.

Why are we not getting these in the US? Any kind of promotion stuff?

I’m not afraid.
