Real or urbanlegend? I checked Snopes, but didn’t find anything.
If its fake, I’d love the chance to send out a campus-wide debunking.
I’d say real. I know a few years ago when I was working accross the border from Detroit there was much ado in the news about weed being soaked in formaldehyde. There was even a rash of burglaries at funeral homes with people looking for formaldehyde. The effects were as described. And I recall it being called something similar to fry.
I thought they were called ‘Sherms.’
