I know this is a zombie, but let me repeat for emphasis. No one has a right to discipline an 18 year old. A child who turns 18 is an adult. You can ask them to leave your house, or you can accept their behavior. You can’t hit them. It could be a crime when they’re under 18 (depending on force used, etc), but it’s certainly a crime to beat an adult woman for any reason. There is not an exception for birth parents.
So Rilchiam, any updates from the family in question?
Too bad Euthanasiast doesn’t come here anymore, I would enjoy the opportunity to tell her how wrong she is.
I think the father should not be charged… the daughter deserved it…
Personally, i would be a tad more stricter if i were to have a daughter, but if i have a son, i wouldn’t care as much

Considering the age of this thread and the heat in this thread and the fact that it appears to have drawn comments from posters whose sole purpose was to see how inflammatory they could be, I am closing this thread.
