Drowning Pool singer Dave Williams was found dead on the band’s tour bus this afternoon. The quartet from Dallas, Texas has been performing as one of the main stage attractions on Ozzfest. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
I guess his body hit da floor.
That sucks.
I got to see Drowning Pool open up for Sevindust last year at the Boathouse in Norfolk, Va. They put on one of the most intense club shows I have ever seen. I remember Dave saying at the end of the set, “I love this part of the show…I get to see you guys go f***ing crazy for the next four minutes…”, and then started playing “Bodies”. My friend and I were both so exhausted after that, we blew off Sevindust, and headed home.
I noticed during the show that he kept snorting…Like he was trying to blow a huge booger out of his nose or something. I just hope he didn’t have some huge coke habit.
I’m sure there are some sad parents in Texas today.
