People are only going to work so long until they realize that it isn’t just a paperwork problem, he really isn’t going to pay them their salary.

Maybe now those Trump managers will start to sympathize with the cabinetmakers & casino employees – but I doubt it.

Maybe they don’t really care about the money and are willing to take on a pro bono project, thinking it might pay dividends down the road. Sure they want him to pay but they probably know that this is a hazard going into this. There’s more than a short-term payday on their minds. If Trump wins, he’ll need assistants, and they’ll be first in line, and they’ll get paid by the taxpayer.

Trump has, I believe, finally hit rock bottom. Hiring a noted repulsive and (nearly) universally reviled smarm-master like Bossie reveals his complete lack of ethics and moral fiber. It also shows his willingness to shrug off the best advice of his campaign staff and once again go off script. The coming weeks should be a veritable shit-fest from this jackass.

Trump now has the modern equivalent of Nixons CREEP and plumbers on massive steroids. Conway’s trying to keep him from going off script and appear nicer. Ailes is prepping him for the debate. Bannon and Bossie are going to rake muck on the dark web, feed conspiracy theories, and produce fake polling data. And Manafort will pay for the Russian hackers to dig up more dirt on Democrats and rattle electronic voting machines. All together, the desired effect is to make the race close, and create doubt about the results.

The future Trump News and Entertainment Network wins if Trump doesn’t, and in the meantime campaign funds are being funneled into every possible Trump and Trump family business, so if he loses the election he still got handsomely paid to run and continue building his brand which is basically idiot appeal. It’s quite the racket.

Trump TV might be an additional lure, but they’re probably more interested in the potential power they would have as White House advisors. Presidents-elect are always dependent on advisors and insiders – nothing new here. But given that Trump really doesn’t have a coherent policy or vision on pretty much, well, anything, I’m guessing they, like Mike Pence, see opportunities to do Trump’s thinking. Imagine that instead of one Dick Cheney in the White House – officially operating in a supporting role in title but much more powerful in reality – imagine that instead of just one, you have five, ten, or fifteen.
