David Cassidy has dementia [EDIT: RIP]

I shook his hand once, as did my wife. We were front row center for a show in Vegas (EFX), back in the early 90’s. It wasn’t quite sold out; the folks at the venue seemed quite happy that we’d shown up and were willing to be up so close to the action. Part of his act apparently included greeting the front row, and we were it.

I too had fond memories of David in the Partridge Family; the one episode featuring Keith Partridge trying to woo a girl by playing Ravel’s “Bolero” had me cracking up.

Kind of eerie that one channel in Toronto has been showing*** The Partridge Family*** lately. I spent a lot of the summer watching it on weekday afternoons and was amazed at how many I remembered.
