Okay, so laugh at me, I watched the show for the first three years religiously, before a real life and a declining interest in the show eventually led to myself not watching it anymore (I caught the finale, but that is it)

Anyway I have been catching up on a few episodes on TBS and I have a question.

At the beginning of season 3 they introduced a storyline involving Dawson and a new hot love interest with a wild girl called Eve, played by one of the Sweet Valley High twins (I forget which one), where they got into alot of high jinxed situations before he broke up with her.

Now Eve came to town looking for her birth mother, but it was only discovered who was the birth mother was - Jen Linley’s mother, thus making Eve, Jen’s half sister . Anyway Dawson found out it was she via an old photograph only after Eve had sailed away on her speedboat into the sunset.

The question is, it felt like they would of bought the storyline back for some sort of conclusion, but they hadn’t by the time I stopped watching it.

Did they ever conclude it? If not, do you know why? It isn’t like that show to not conclude a storyline in teen angst glory.

If they did then I missed it. Something niggles in the back of my head saying they might’ve brought it up later on but I don’t think it was really resolved.

I dont remember them bringing it back either. I could have missed some episodes though, I used to watch it religously but then gave up on it, but caught some of it again in the reruns. Dont remember them ever bringing up that story line again though!

They concluded it in the Thanksgiving episode that season. Dawson confonted Mrs. Lindley with the picture, and she told him to go $%^ himself, basically. For god only knows what reason, he honored the witch’s request that he stay out of it. The series ended with Jen never knowing about her sister.

What elfkin said- that was the last we heard of it. They pretty much just dropped that storyline and moved on. Jen’s mom(who was not a frequently seen character, she was introduced for the first time in Season 3) shows up a couple of times in later seasons, but we never hear of Eve again.
