Blue Beetle was so bad, I turned it off before ever seeing Blue Beetle. DC still sucks.
Huh. I thought it was goofy campy fun. The aspects that were cringey were so cringey that they were funny.
I watched this on a plane trip recently and was entertained. I thought the resolution was muddled and messy, but I liked the humor, action, and timing. The cameos were fun, especially the last one, but the Nicholas Cage one could have been a single shot, no spider. Supergirl was done well, but they could have spent more time with her.
While the stories that were in the news about Ezra Miller left me with a bad taste in my mouth, I thought they did a great job in this movie. They’re naturally funny.
As did I. That’s how I get pretty much all of my comic book movie viewing in. I thought the acting was fine. I have not liked the writing in the extended Super Friends movies I’ve seen. Something about the dialog bugs me. And I dislike time travel / parallel worlds plots. I’m fine with different versions of characters and stories without trying to tie them together.
I fly a lot less these days so haven’t kept up with most of the newer releases.
