Two days ago my bluetooth mouse died. I fed it new batteries, nothing. Just the little light flashing, mocking me. Now, today I wake up to no key board. New batteries, same flashy light.
I had to go dig out the giant, plug-ins.
Do bluetooth toys die of old age? They’re both about a yea old.
I’m ok with these wired parts but I did really like my mighty mouse.
You may need to redo the pairing operation. I’ve never set up BT mice/keyboards, but most BT devices let you do this by holding down a button on each device. The master - your computer in this case, will start looking for devices. The slave - the mouse and keyboard in this case, will go into a mode to check if anyone is looking for them.
The computer recognizes them, It just won’t connect. I’ll go to the Apple Store and maybe they can figure it out.
My wireless keyboard and mouse are Logitech, and I bought them in January of 2011. I have no idea if their signal is bluetooth, there’s a tiny USB plug they share. Anyway, just letting you know the age of mine and still working fine.
