Dead Singers and Musicians thread

Jon Bunch, a member of the bands Sense Field and Further Seems Forever, died recently.

New Zealander Peter Robinson, member of The Tin Syndrome, died about a week ago.

Registering standard objection to “singers and musicians”.

Singers are musicians.

Please continue.

Hilarious - my drummer friends say the same thing!!

Your drummer friends say singers are musicians?

My bassist friend says nothing.

He’s an introvert.

Bassists have friends?

They tell jokes about being referred to as “drummers and musicians”…

Joe Dowell, who sang the 1961 #1 hit “Wooden Heart” (a cover of Presley’s song) died recently.

I bet anyone who played at a senior prom was bad.

Canadian singer Gilles Brown died.

As did Dan Hicks, who ran the band Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks.

La Velle, a gospel singer, died.

Brad Kent, of D.O.A. and the Avengers, died as well.

Marcus Turner, a New Zealand folk singer, is no more.

Guitarist Rick Wright died.

Finally, L. C. Ulmer, a delta blues musician, passed away.

“Guitarist Rick Wright” - I paused. Rick Wright was the keyboard player for Pink Floyd!

But sure enough, there’s a Rick Wright, a country Tele player in Marty Stuart’s plan. Interesting.

To be fair, Rick Wright is also dead.

Paul Gordon, keyboardist and guitarist for the New Radicals and B-52s, has passed away.
