With the new season starting next month and the DVDs of season just out last week. I am anxious for season two to start. This thread is for speculation as to what may happen in everyones favorite foul-mouthed South Dakota town.
I believe in the real world timeline the town gets mostly destroyed by a fire. Since Al repeatedly threatens to do this I’m guessing he will be responsible.
I think on this board someone once mentioned that Wyatt Earp showed up in town and Bullock told him to take a hike. That would be great to see. I’d love it if they roped Kurt Russell into playing the part again.
The audio commentaries on season one reveal some stuff for season 2. Some of it spoilery so I won’t post it here (because I have no clue as to how to do spoiler boxes.)
I haven’t read any season 2 spoilers, so this is all speculation on my part.
Seth’s “family” will show up, making his situation with Alma that much more difficult.
Wu’s pigs will be well fed.
Jane will come back to Deadwood.
There will be a fire.
Wyatt will show up for one episode.
Al, Jane, and Ellsworth will swear. A lot.
At least one of the main characters at the Bella Union is going to cash their chips in. My money is on Eddie, with Cy being a close second. If anything happens to Joanie, Cy is going to meet a bad end soon after.
The triangle with Al, Sol, and Trixie is going to get even more complicated.
I will be watching each Sunday night.
I would also like to note that my season 1 DVD set will arrive tomorrow! 
I got no clue what to expect, but damn should it be fun!
Whatever happens, I sure hope to see more of Brad Dourif. If they kill him off, they’d better discover a long-lost twin brother or something.
