Okay, I understand. We don’t always get happy endings in life. But couldn’t someone, ANYONE, mention their names? Was there any need for the Stalinesque excision of their faces from photos and old video footage?
Because, if you believe Don Felder, the band was run in a Stalinesque manner as well. This is just more of the same.
I didn’t get to see it yet - was Joe Walsh included? I guess everyone but the three mentioned was there. Even Don Henley can’t pretend that the band was just Don and Glenn.
Yeah, from footage I’ve seen earlier, Walsh and Tim Schmit were both there side by side with Henley.
Yeah - sad. Henley is a huge talent and a huge jerk, but I would’ve thought he would’ve gotten out of his own way on this one. Regardless of why it went went down this way, he comes off like a twit for this.
Yeah, Henley and Frey have both come across as just generally crap people with some immense talent (especially Henley, whose lyrics run more than skin deep). This is not entirely surprising, unfortunately.
