I, Lexicon, realize that tho this place be cool, it is still just a message board.
It is not my life, nor is it the end of the world as I know it if something bad happens to me here. I will not take myself so seriously that if someone insults me here I develop a complex about it.
I will hang out here, and talk to all the friends I have made over my 700 some odd posts. (post count ammended to account for previous name.)
I will attend the doper shin-digs near my residence and further deepen the relationships I have initiated here.
I will live a normal happy life, enduring the trials and tribulations that we all have to endure in our lives, and be a doper as well.
And occasionally do weird shit because I am kind of a nut-bar, but in a good way like pay day.
I won’t ever feel the need to take the 'Dope beyond what it is, and I have a good time enjoying all the knowledge I gain, all the knowledge I can share, and the hysterical laughter that results from some of our more endeared members and the antics of some of the not so endeared.
I won’t argue with a moderator or administrator any other such figure of Dopian Authori-tah, as I am playing in their backyard and if I don’t like it I can take my ball and go home at any time. The proceeding does not include arguing with said figures of Dopian Authori-tah in forums where argument are the point, such as Great Debates. I will however limit such arguments to the crux of the issue, and use the argument in the interest of rhetoric. I will keep in mind that the figures of Dopian Authori-tah are my friends automatically and are worthy of my respect and that we should be able to differ without rancor by defalut.
I will not present my opinion as fact, I will not post threads with the specific intent of putting a burr in anyone’s britches. I will not be an idiot, a ignoramous (when I can help it), or a prick.
I will respect the opinions of others, and I will expect them to respect mine, even if we disagree.
For the most part, I will use my head and try to be cool, and try to be tolerant, and try to be a good guy.
I know I will occasionally run into failed abortions like Michael Masterson and Mr. Socko, but I will conduct myself in a manner commensurate with their behavior.
All in all, I will try to fight ignorance in myself and in others to the best of my ability with other like minded individuals.
To me, this last statement is not only a summation of what I have written, but a summation of what the dope is. I hope that we can all learn from such a simple point of view, and I will try to adhere to it as much as possible.

I will realize this is only a message board.
I will make friends with anyone who wants to, but will not soak my beer with tears of sorrow for those who don’t like me.
For those times when I need a break, I’ll take it, without trying to draw the board into whatever reason I left (OK, I can’t back this one up. There might be a time in the misty future when I’ll just feel the need tom make some passing mention of whatever it is. Depends on the humor/controversy value of it).
I will keep any and all personal disputes with any and all posters I have had the honor of meeting here just that: Personal and private. I share, but some things are simply TMI.

Even though I haven’t been posting here nearly as much, I have found that sooner or later, i keep coming back. No other MB board that I’ve tried has had the particular buzz effect that this board has had for me.
