I would not care if they mocked me if they truly had some complaint of any merit. But instead they took one statement of me complaining of someone using big words and famous people to make themselves seem smarter as “I DON’T LIKE BIG WORDS.”

And making a sig about it makes it look like either you’re proud of that, or that it’s important to you. So, as long as you continue to acknowledge the teasing and display your little verse in your sig, I don’t see that you’ve got any call to complain about people thinking that’s the only thing you’re about.
