Well true, but those weapons don’t actually exist yet. This moron is whining that the Americans (because of course, no other countries cough are supplying any troops, right? :dubious: ) should be using smart bombs to destroy weapons and such targets when that’s what is being done, and using EMP weapons when none other than nukes currently exist. Dang, with that level of understanding about what’s going on right now, I guess I should just bow to his superior wisdom.

A friend forwarded me this link on a rumored EMP weapon. Reading it over, it’s apparently rumored that we have a few poorly-tested expensive pieces of hardware that might not work that well or have anything resembling a decent range. And I’m sure they’re not cheap. If that article is anything close to what the reality is, I hope they actually work somewhat, rather than risking the lives of servicemen while they deploy highly classified and extremely expensive useless containers of metal and electronics to get smashed into bits.
That being said, smart bombs are being used by the US and the coalition, and EMPs without a nuclear blast aren’t exactly common.
