Dear God No!!!!

R.Kelly to continue the abomination that is “Trapped in the Closet”

All right. I say we let him slide on the child-molesting thing. THIS is the real crime.

I’m still confused. Is *Trapped in the Closet * supposed to be a joke?

As far as I know, no. It’s his “urban opera.” Or just a really long, crappy song that is funny when people act it out.

I admit, I’ve been watching it. And I don’t even like R. Kelly. Not one of his songs. Ever. And I think he is disgusting and stupid.

But I can’t help it.

All I can think of when anyone says R. Kelly is Chappelle’s imitation of him.

“I want to piss on you piss on you piss on you…”

Personally, I think R. Kelly is just trying to make people forget the “I want to piss on you…drip drip drip! Pee on you!” thing by doing something even MORE embarassing. . . and hilarious.

I watched the premiere of chapters 6, 7, and 8 on VH1 the other night, and they were hilarious. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any crazier, R-Kelly introduces an accidental shooting, more new characters, more cheatin’, and he even does ACCENTS!

“What’s that spatula gonna do against them guns?”

Is there anywhere we can watch episodes 6, 7, and 8? They’re unbelievable bad and they aren’t even so bad it’s good, they are just bad - I still wanna see 'em though.

I say that right before R. Kelly goes to prison we tell his cellmate he wrote a song called “Trapped in the Closet.”

How much do you wanna bet he misinterprets it?

And then I said, “That’s the worst thing ever…”

I caught one of the new chapters last night. The one where the woman offers “payers” to her husband. Every chapter just gets funnier and funnier. These things are definitely in the “so bad it’s good” category. The fact that R. Kelly seems to think Trapped is a masterpiece makes the whole thing even more hilarious.

I watched an Mtv special a week or so ago that had chapters 1-6, and a sneak preview of 7 (all in ONE sitting!), but I have yet to see chapter 8.

Anyone want to ruin it for me?

Hip-hop, R&B and opera may well be the next big thing. Gospel plays as urban operas have been going on for decades.

It’s sort of an obvious pastiche when you think about it.

I’d like to see Snoop and Dre collaborate on an opera. No joke!

The plots have to get better, though.

Heh. That’s funny.

One was being played on BET…it was about a cop who comes home to find his wife acting strangely and begins to suspect something is up.

When I started watching this episode the police had just got off of the phone with his wife and was on the way home. In all serioiusness, I thought Dave Chapelle was doing a spoof on them until Mr. Kelly himself showed up in the video.
