Sorry to discuss another board here, but I’m looking for some help from Polycarp, Homebrew, RTFirefly, Navigator . . . pretty much anyone who posts at the Pizza Parlor.

See, the site’s down.

This isn’t a problem, really, except that the URL is mapped to this rather bizarre and IMO somewhat terrifying site.

I think at this point I just wanna know two things.

Firstly, how on earth did the site get hashed?

And secondly, is this Steve Shead “Gizwic” guy a Parlorite? 'Cos if he is, I’d feel really bad about mocking the site, and I’d really like to.

I think the last time I was on the PP was Wednesday night. So how long has this Gizwic dude been hijacking the Parlor? And what exactly is his site about??? Color me confused.

Never mind. All is back to Norman . . . they moved to a new server, and I guess there were some interesting DNS tweaks as a result.

I’ll just go now . . .

It was there for me when I clicked over there a moment ago.

But I’d pretty much given up on it already. Don’t expect to see me there any more this month than you did last month.

Anyway, all seems to be well now. The server’s been moved (to Gator’s machine, IIRC.)
And no, I didn’t have anything to do with it.

No, the new server’s physically on the East Coast, David – Gator’s stuff is in Texas.

I don’t recognize the name Steve Shead or Giswic at all.
