dear telecommunications guru, I cannot access Gmail.com - tethering issue?

I have not been able to access gmail.com from my laptop for several days. I can access gmail.com from android through my phone, but when I tether the laptop it cannot access it, and certain other pages.

Sprint doesn’t support tethering.

I can access gmail.com if I use another ISP.

I’m not so certain this can be fixed, but I’d like to know why it is happening.

Any ideas?

Are you using the free version of PDAnet? After the trial period ends, it does not support HTTPS (HTTP Secure). Gmail uses HTTPS. You’ll need to purchase the full version of PDAnet.
