You’ve all had your fun at this young man’s expense, but take a moment to consider it from his perspective. He came to us from some foreign board, most likely driven by the promises of liberty and prosperity that the SDMB holds. He came to us to share his ideas in an open forum…and we drove him away. Is this what we have come to? Are we really such monsters? But what’s done is done, and neither the board nor any of us as individuals will ever be the same. I, for one, will really, really, REALLY miss the old guy. He was always one of my favorite posters. In fact, I was going to put him on “Posters I most want to date” list, but then (sob), I read this. What a shame. What a crying shame.
P.S. Anyone know if he left a will?
