I’ve been basically AWOL for a couple of years. I stopped back to check in on you guys to make sure you’re all behaving (not so much) and I noticed that some of the more “special” of us have moved on.

Dio was banned, but you can usually find him hanging out over at Giraffe’s board (as Ken S.).
Kythereia and Miss Purl McKnittington were two posters whose posts I enjoyed. They both show up every once in a while but not as often as they used to. I don’t think Anastaseon comes around any more either. I used to always lament the absence of Eve in these sorts of threads but yea she has returned and there has been much rejoicing, let me tell you.
Liberal stated he was leaving in order to spend time writing a book on “The Esthetical Jesus.”
I seen that Liberal hasn’t been active for over a year, since 07-30-2010. and his location is given as “gone”.
I also see that in this thread he mentions having a heart attack and writing a book; he posted after that thread a few times though.

Likewise I always really enjoyed reading posts by Uncommon Sense, but alas he seems to have disappeared as well.

Sometimes I wonder about chowder. Given the abruptness of his disappearance, I fear the worst.
Pay 2 Post changed the boards forever, even tho it’s now gone.
Other people just got bored with the board.
Some got tired of the “Same Old Thing” happening over and over.
And yet others let real life creep in on them (how DARE they?).
There’s also some who used to be extremely prolific posters who still post, just not nearly as much, perhaps for some of the reasons listed above.
