I dunno. If the number of people who’ve posted “good grief, am I actually agreeing with december?” posts give me a penny, I could finally afford that blowjob from Trent Lott I’ve been hankering for.
I’m still holding out hope that one of these days I will come to the board and see ‘BANNED’ under december’s name. I don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet, really, people have been kicked out for less.
december definitely asks loaded questions. He seems to have perfected the art of loaded thread titles, as well. But there’s a fine line between trolling, inviting discussion, and making a point in a snide manner.
A line that is nearly invisible in december’s posts and which he wanders across with blithe (if not drunken) abandon.
That said, I see no reason for banishment. Every thread has the OP’s ID posted alongside. It should be fairly simply to avoid opening and reading threads by posters one knows one will find irritating.
For some reason I needed to go find a picture of Trent Lott, as a sort of visual aid.
And I got sidetracked by a picture of him, along with Daschle, Hastert, and Gephardt, receiving Christmas gifts from W. Except that–he’s the only one with no gift! What could this mean? Is there a Conspiracy Theorist in the house?
I am proud to say, my life has been december-free since about May, tomndebb. I just pass over his OP’s and scroll really quickly by his posts. It has greatly improved my enjoyment of the boards.
I am so out of the loop. I was out of the loop about Wildest Bill (not that similar to december, at least as far as I can tell) and I am out of the loop with december. (Wildest Bill has since been banned, for what reason, I don’t know. Out of the loop, remember?) I don’t anticipate or encourage december’s banning, but once again…out of the loop, so what would I know?
I’ve never exposed myself to enough of december’s heated OPs to get upset. His random posts here and there are not all that annoying. Oh, I confess—I am not completely immune to getting worked up and upset by some topics, but I guess I’ve learned to not even bother looking at some of these heated threads. Time is short—I don’t always feel like wading through umpteen posts full of indignant outrage. And that seems to be what a lot of these threads transform themselves into. So why bother?
He is an idiot that likes to push his anti-liberal, anti-palestinian, anti- UN, anti-EU, anti-Democrat, Anti-Clinton, Anti- Kyoto, Anti everything, coulter loving agenda at every possible moment.
And he’ll probably post some shit limerick in response to this thread.
It’s pretty obvious that he does. And some dopers just can’t resist rising to the bait, every time!
Stamping out ignorance is a noble pursuit, but when doing so would require the total rewiring of someone’s cranium, it’s clearly a lost cause. I’ve been lurking for long enough to know that posts by december are to be avoided at all cost.
Incidentally, I’m not nearly as conservative as he is, but I’m still Anti-Clinton, Anti-Kyoto, Anti-Liberal, Anti-Democrat, and for the most part Anti-UN. I’m not Anti-Palestinian, but very Pro-Israel, if you get the distinction. There are rational reasons for people to feel that way, so if you would, please watch how broadly you sweep that brush.
However, I think that Ann Coulter is a nutjob. Who doesn’t?
