My wife and I have stayed at the Black Hills Hideaway near Deadwood SD a couple of times and really liked it. I didn’t see that one listed.
The B&B’s on the website are listed by membership type (platinum down to bronze). Is this just a site where places pay to be listed?
Yes! Have had the pleasure of staying there 4 or 5 times. I always went during peak foliage season for northern NH. Everything is included and the food is comfort food and very good. I saw many moose and a bear. The lake is wonderful and they have canoes. I would call the place rustic and the great room has a roaring fire going all the time. There are many trophies on the walls. It is very relaxing and cozy. Bring a book.
The site only shows one B&B in my area, and in fact there are more than a dozen. I couldn’t say which “should” be on the site, though.
