The Presidential Debate? Dark Angel? The Presidential Debate? Dark Angel?
So tell me how Dark Angel is. I’ve heard mixed reviews so far.

(I’d watch the debate, but a lightning strike knocked out my tv.)
Depends on if you want to watch a comedy or a drama.
I think Dark Angel will be on again on Friday, and the chances of Bush screwing up are very great, so I say go for the debate.
Tape one, watch the other.
It’s too late, I’m sure, as the debate is already happening, but might I recommend NPR?
Neither, of course. I wanted to see Dark Angel, but there’s no way I was going to miss Buffy and Angel.
If it’s on again Friday, great.
And what debate? Those two candidates are the same!
No debate, but I did find that WUSF-FM in Tampa is running a segment about the Goon Show on October 12th. Yes!!!Woohoo!!! Yes!!! Yeeeeeehaaaaaaawwwwwwww!!!

Isn’t dark angel the show by the same guy who did Titanic? I say the debates. It’s fun watching Bush look like an idiot.

So, particlewill and Amulet thanks for the input. I guess working late and watching baseball on ESPN Gamecast was not a bad choice (go Oakland!). Anyone watch Comedy Central’s take on the debates? I figure at least The Daily Show with Jon Stewart will have some feedback that should be worth watching.

No kidding. I can summarize the whole 90 minute debate in 4 lines:
Gore: I want to put Medicare in a LOCKED BOX.
Bush: You had 8 years to do it!
Gore: My opponent wants to give money to the 1% richest people only!
Bush: No, everyone. Vote for me, everyone gets money!
(Repeat for an hour and a half.)

They have threee tapes available (guess they are sold out of the first one). I’m not sure about postage though, if they post to the states or not. If not, you could probably have them mailed to me & I could send them on (it will be about 6-8 weeks doing it that way with the run up to Christmas starting for posting abroad…)
I watched the debate–sort of. Yesterday was long day, and I was tired as hell by the time I sat down in front of the T.V.
I kept falling asleep, and hubby didn’t want to watch all by himself, so he kept waking me up. A couple of times, I mumbled, “This is as much fun as watching fish get shot in a barrel”. Predictable outcome. Complete waste of time. At least I got a nap out of the deal…
