De'endee Mafia

Honestly I believe this is time wasting right now. If I haven’t screwed up the time zones again there’s only a few hours left in the day. There’s a clear vote leader at the moment with one or two other possible candidates. We should be focusing on lynching the right person rather than another long discussion about when and when not to use both votes.

Huh!!

Well if that’s what you think

Vote Pedescribe

I know it’s not going to be seen as a good vote, sorry about your teeth Normal but I really haven’t got a scummy vibe from anyone and I do want to live and I am Vanilla Town with no Power.

Thanks for responding. I see what you are saying now. As it happens, I just changed my vote as well to Silver Jan. What do you think of it?

Is your role PM the same as KellyCriterions or not?

I understand what you’re saying here, but I think it was pretty clear what the rules meant, and that you currently have votes locked in for **KellyCriterion **and septimus.

And I think you knew that before you asked the question.

I’m just trying to clarify the rules. It’s never a bad time to do that.

It is when locked votes aren’t going to matter a damn since the day will end in an hour or two anyway.
Class: Mage
Alignment: Defenders of De’endee
Role: NPC
Win Condition: You win when all threats to the Defenders of De’endee are vanquished and at least one member of the Defenders of De’endee is still alive.
Powers: None.
well this is it

From Post 1 of this thread:

“Lynching scum will award XP for all players who voted for that player.”

I take that to mean that you earn XP if, and only if, you vote for the lynch candidate **AND **that person is Scum. If we lynch Town, nobody gets XP (except possibly Scum, if they have a different mechanism).

Sorry, 3 hours according to the countdown timer you posted earlier.

What did you think about the fact that your character class didn’t match kelly’s?

I clarified this here.

It’s 1 and 3, when you have two votes on the same person. As soon as you have a second vote on the same person as your first one, they are irremovable. It does not matter whether it is in the same post or not.

I thought that is what I said.
I was sort of responding to the double thinking posts about power voting a leader to possibly gain XP vs Vanilla voting a leader to smoke screen the power roles.

Maybe I am a bit thick but I would love to know what NPC means

 1. You are locked in.
 2. You are not locked in.
 3. You are locked in.
 4. You are not locked in.

And, as requested, a vote count:

KellyCriterion (7): Stanislaus [204], Choie [247], Scathach [293], special ed [295], TexCat [315]. Suburban Plankton [342], LightFoot [361]
Silver Jan (4): Red Skeezix [233]. ShadowFacts [360], Romanic [363], pedescribe [369]
Askthepizzaguy (3): gnarlycharlie [228]. Koldanar [238], Septimus [248]
Koldanar (2): Askthepizzaguy [225]. Mental Guy [219]
Normal Phase (1): KellyCriterion [213]
Septimus (1): Normal Phase [338],
special ed (1): special ed [372]
pedescribe (1): Silver Jan [382]

With these votes, KellyCriterion would be lynched. Day ends in about 3 hours and some change. As a side note, I will not be here for the day end, and Mahaloth will be posting the lynch results. Day ends at 6 sharp; no votes or unvotes will be accepted after 5:59.

Non Player Character.

Voting pedescribe doesn’t help you live, not directly or indirectly. Perversely, that helps you even more with me.

I’m going to put my second vote back on Kelly. I’m not encouraged by his failure to appear today. I’m not remotely unhappy the unvotes happened, but at this point I want him lynched.

vote: KellyCriterion

Apparently, I stand corrected. In that case, I apologize to Ed for thinking he was up to some hijinks (in that particular post, that is. I’m quite certain he is in fact up to some hijinks in general :))

So just to clarify, since I am apparently no paying near as close attention to this game as I thought I was:

As long as I don’t cast two votes for the same person, I am free to have multiple votes on the board all Day long, and change them as often as I wish?

I am currently voting for Kelly. I can vote for Ed again now, then change my mind and vote for **Pinkies **and Inner Stickler, then work my way through the entire Town, as long as I don’t have two votes on the same player at the same time?

:frowning:

I must now rethink a whole bunch of thoughts that I had concerning voting strategy. But I am comfortable with my vote as it stands currently.

Thanks.
@ Everyone, so all this fretting about not casting our second votes is for naught. Unless we cast them for the same person.

So why was that in my PM as I am obviously plaing?
