De'endee Mafia

I don’t have time to digest a whole other game right now.

I don’t care if he’s behaving exactly the way he always behaves! My case on him is not based on him acting oddly, it’s based on where his votes are, what he says, when he says it, and who turned up scum.

He could behave like himself during the whole process, it doesn’t make it any less scummy. It’s not a behavior-based case, it’s a vote-based case. Where were the votes when it mattered? On the wrong places. Where was the pressure when it mattered? Nonexistent.

If you’re going to bus someone, do it for real, don’t stick your left foot in, stick your left foot out, stick it back in and shake it all about. This isn’t the hokey pokey. This is mafia. That’s what it’s all about.

What I’m saying is the last time he was scum, he was VERY different. Strikingly different. I just double checked; he only had 8 posts in that game. It won’t take you long. See how he reacts when a scumbuddy (Pleonast) is under pressure (votes to save him, but with major justification), see what he does when under pressure himself (nothing).

I would like to see the context of his day two vote; it’s always possible he’s just picked up his game play since then. But I have several people I’d like to see dead before him.

Well…

Look I see what you’re saying, but look at anyone’s play variation from game to game. Some games I don’t stand up and shout at everyone and pressure everyone, some games I do the exact opposite. Some games I ignore pressure on myself completely, some games I attack anyone who votes for me. Some games I just wagon people, especially if I have no time, others, I try to lead the wagons more often.

If he acted differently as scum in one game, or the same as scum in one game, that’s not really a huge history you can pattern effectively. He could have switched up his game.

Even when I was a big advocate of behavior patterns, and I still am, I noted that people do not always behave the same in every game. They have a range of behaviors. And it was not one or two variations from standard that got me going, but many different ones, especially ones that you don’t consciously avoid repeating.

I think it’s obvious from reading his posts he’s very measured and focused. His behavior is strikingly solid all game long, very smooth, very even. It’s calculated, as town or scum; as such, what you look for is not the poker face itself, but how much he’s betting, when he’s betting it, and why.

I can’t read his poker face and I’m not trying to. It’s one of the weaker ways of getting somebody, and it’s not very accurate, even if it is useful. I’m more concerned with his intentions, and even with a solid poker face, one’s intentions are revealed through votes.

Fair enough. Hey, I haven’t exactly agreed with your Mental case. Pun intended.

Correction: Far as I can tell you have not even looked at my Mental case.

At least we’re on the same page as regards Suburban Plankton. Salut!

Maybe I have not done it too deeply, but I have read every word of this thread several times over by now. I never had any strong enough reaction one way or the other, and have always been keeping busy with my own leads I suppose.

Sorry; if I survive I’ll look harder at what others have to say. I think I’ve spent my entire supply of photon torpedoes by now. I’m willing to follow and not lead, simply due to if I am correct then I am and hopefully we win soon, and if I am not, then I need to start looking at everyone else’s cases more closely anyway.

if i were to characterize my play, i have been hardly participating rather than trying hard to participate. i’m not proud of it but i have more time now and will post more.

i’m puzzled about your comment about Inner Stickler hinting he was a paranoid doc. how is that different from sharing possibilities with town? i certainly considered there being a paranoid doc and would have brought it up if no one id.

These are two back to back quotes, so you’ve been convinced that **Inner **was the doctor, but also convinced he is a Scum?

OK, I’ve been away from computer for a bit, but I’m trying to catch up. I want to take a look at this case by **PizzaGuy **in the light of the **septimus **reveal as Scum.

So, what happened Night Two? We know that **special ed **was killed, and I think we all have been presuming all along that this was the Scum kill. Nothing we know contradicts this, so I think we can say with almost certainty that Scum killed ed. Any disagreement? Didn’t think so. **Skeezix **claims to be the Vig and to have targeted septimus. We now know that **septimus **was not, in fact, bulletproof. **Skeezix **claims that **septimus **was protected. With bulletproof off the table, the only other option besides **Skeezix ** lying is said protection. Looking at **Pizza’s ** 5 points again:

“1.) A doctor protected septimus (instead of Lightfoot?). If so, they must claim to prevent bad lynches. Haven’t done it yet, and as such, I would reject any such claim as being remotely trustworthy. Not bloody likely.”
I agree completely, as I said yesterDay. A doc protecting **septimus **instead of **LightFoot **is nearly ludicrous.

2.) and 3.) also are right out. What about point 4?

“4.) Okay, so no doc protection, no roleblock, and Red wasn’t lying about the attack. Therefore, Red Skeezix attacked a bulletproof septimus on N2.”
Whoops, nope, that’s not possible now. NOW it becomes: No doc protection, no roleblock, no bulletproof; so Red must be lying about the attack. Which means there is now a NEW point 5:

5.) **septimus was lying AND Red Skeezix was lying. ** If we reject the idea of someone protecting septimus, I don’t see any other possible conclusion.

I await your rebuttal, Pizza.

No. I had figured he was either the doctor, or a scumbag. Now I’m pretty sure he’s not the doctor, and leaning scumbag.

If septimus is scum and he was, and the mafia have abilities to deflect Red Skeezix’ attack, either by the beguiler role having some defense, or the scumbags having a scum doctor protecting him, then Red Skeezix is not lying.

My points ruled out a townie doctor, not a scum one.

This board ( or my comp) keeps loggng me out. humour me is EON in about 14 minutes?

The one person that I can confirm Town is gaining some Town cred by himself. In the event the evildoers get me tonight should I out said player or leave be?
Your thoughts

Well I think it’s a moot point now as it’s past the deadline. But I’d have said yes.

shakes fist at Astral for being late

I would have given the player name but that’s just me.

Whoo, we’re running late today. I wonder what happened.

I’m fairly sure she’s talking about ATPG, anyway.

Astral’s not even online right now, or if he is, he’s surfing in Invisible Mode. Maha is though and his last activity is 6:13. I’m guessing he’s pulling all the stuff together now. Or mafia’s not the only item on his plate, which is absolutely ridiculous. I demand the moderator’s full and constant attention at all times.

That would make sense, Normal.

Your humble narrator was definitely not asleep.

“Reckon his head’ll be blown clear off. Ka-POW!” The warrior said, nodding.

The ranger sighed. “Man, don’t you go start with me. Let’s just do this in silence.”

“Or maybe they’ll have been cuttin’ on him for a spell. Them Lords sure are a miserable bunch.”

“I would consider it a kindness if you stopped speculating on what we’re gonna find.”

“I’m jes’ saying, you know it’s gonna be awful. ‘Spect they’ll be wantin’ some kind of revenge for the way we killed that Septimus thing.”

The two walked in silence for a while. They stopped at each house, knocking and waiting for a response. And at each home, they were greeted by the unmistakeable signs of life. So far, so good.

“Think we’ll nail ourselves another today?” The ranger asked, as they moved towards the next home. The soft glow from a candle was already flickering in the window, obvious in the pale morning light.

“Well, it’s like my Uncle Minky says. Try, try, and try again ‘til you can’t try no longer. And if that don’t work, why, you’ve just gone and wasted a whole lotta time tryin’ to do something you just couldn’t do.”

“Well?” The mayor asked. He shivered a little, the sun not yet above the rim of the hills surrounding De’endee.

“Nobody.”

The mayor smiled. “Good. Think they left?”

The barbarian shook his head. “No. But I bet they’re scared.”
Day has now arrived, and will last until Thursday, August 11th at 6 pm central time.

Pfft…

I don’t see how **RedSkeezix **could NOT be scum! No kill on the night he was reportedly blocked. States he tried to Vig the bulletproof player who was NOT bulletproof! I’ll be anxiously awaiting **Lightfoot **and ShadowFacts, but in the meantime…

vote RedSkeezix

Lemme guess, Shadowfacts is gonna come barreling in here, telling us he blocked Skeezix again and will we please lynch him.

Yeah, that’s what I figured too.

ETA… I also what to see who **RedSkeezix **failed to kill this time!
