Another board I frequent defaults to “instant email notification” when anyone opens a new thread. This is a good thing for an absent-minded old fart like me. 
Is there some way I can enable this feature in my profile?
Now I gotta remember to click “instant. etc”

You mean when anyone posts to a thread you’ve posted to? If so, open your user CP, click Edit Options and it’s in the second box down.
I was thinking of just threads that I start, but that’ll do fine.

Hey, I see you’ve got a movie coming out!
That’s actually the vB default, we turned it off as it was more annoying to people to have to uncheck each time. This works better for us.
