i’m sure this has been asked before but i can’t find it ^^;
i don’t use email notification (when i post and at user options) but i receive emails telling me of new posts/replies everytime, is there anyway to turn it off?
i do subscribe to threads however, is this why i’m getting the emails? is there anyway to turn it off while still using the subscribe feature (i find it easier to keep track of some topics this way…) thxs 
Click the User CP button at the top right of this page, then click Preferences. You can uncheck the box which makes Email Notification on by default.
i had already checked ‘no’ under “Use ‘Email Notification’ by default?”
i think it’s because i’ve subscribed to the thread. can i be greedy and keep my subscription to the thread while not wanting email notifications? thxs thxs

E-mail notification and subscription are essentially the same thing. Except that a subscription allows members to receive notification of new posts to a thread without having made a post of their own to it. I use the subscription feature to keep an eye on potentially troublesome threads.
