It is kinda sad that he didn’t go out on a “Bush dangles his genitals out the window” story though. Finger, thumb, whatever, who cares? That thread was just so stooopid.
Which perhaps is why it was the one that triggered the banning, the one that snapped the last fraying thread of tolerance among the adminity. Not only does he blast right past the “Road closed” sign, he does it on a tricycle with a flat tire.
I prefer to think of it as an HO-gauge train wreck.

I didn’t read too many of his posts, but it looks like he had a lot of warnings. Its just that simple; he didn’t seem to want to behave.

Can any anti-Bush attack be pointless? Isn’t that something like “pointless kindness to animals,” or “pointless snacks for starving children”? To my mind, the worth of the thing is inherent, it lies in its existence.

Huh? I would consider “Bush eats babies!” to be a pointless anti-Bush attack. It is almost certainly not factual and adds no value to any debate. On the other hand, I can also think of pointless kindness to animals (Happy Birthday cards every 1/7 of a year to your pet dog) and pointless snacks for starving children (celery sticks or anything else with no nutritional value).
The current admininstration creeps my out, to be perfectly honest. But I definately have seen many examples of pointless anti-Bush attacks.

Reeder’s antiBush obsession did him in. Remember his Pit threads? Inevitably, the discussion focused not in whatever notion appeared in the OP, but on the fact that it was just another Reeder cheapshot. Most folks would learn to duck and cover if so many of their threads were greeted with such derision. But not he - which makes his behavior appear to have been nearly pathological. He was, on these occasions, a jerk par excellance.
The only surprise about his banning is that it didn’t happen earlier.

‘Tis a sad day in dufferland. A sad, sad day. Rarely is there a poster of such shallowness that offers me almost a slam-dunk win in arguing something. On my way to work I felt a disturbance in the force. I couldn’t put my finger on it at the time. The grass wasn’t as green, the birds’ singing was almost muffled and I saw 2 bunnies not having sex. It was almost surreal.
I guess in the end Reeder has won. Ironically, in a roundabout way, Bush is the reason he was banned. Imagine his ire today!

Look, I am a liberal. I loathe Bush almost as much as Reeder does. But when you start to attack someone for such bullshit reasons, you lose credibility. I dislike Bush because he got our country into a messy, unwinnable war for no apparent reason and thinks that Margaret Atwood’s Gilead is a model government (assuming he’s literate enough to read The Handmaid’s Tale). I don’t dislike him because his daughter stuck her goddamn tongue out at someone or he maybe flipped someone off. Reeder is a total fucking loony and the political equivalent to the boy who cried wolf. Bash Bush for something moronic, no one will take you seriously when he does something actually worth getting angry over.
(I admit I chortled a little when I realized my pissing him off in his last thread might have been what did him in.)
