I’m looking for colleges/universities that offer degrees by independent study. I know that BYU offers an Independent Study degree in general education, but they require you to attend classes for two weeks of each section. Anyone who knows me at all is aware that I take big steps to avoid being around others at all (due to schizophrenia and social phobia), so BYU’s program wouldn’t work for me.
Anyone know of any true Independent Study degrees that don’t require classroom time? And please don’t mention those “Sally Struthers” tv commercial courses. I’m talking about a real accredited degree here, not a diploma mill.
