Dell Latitude/ATI Mobility Radeon Settings

I just got a Dell Latitude D810, and whenever it runs on battery power the display is dimmed. I have looked at/tweaked every power and display setting I can find, and cannot seem to keep the display from dimming when the laptop is unplugged. My video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon X300.

Does anyone know what I can do to keep the display from dimming? I have looked at Control Panel > Power Settings, and all of the tabs in Display Properties > Settings> Advanced. What am I missing?

The setting is in the Bios. When the computer starts up, hit “F2”, I think – It’ll tell you what key to hit to get into the bios.

The monitor dimming item is one you can configure on the page. I’d tell you where it it, but it depends on the version of the bios you are using.
