No, she’s mine!
¡She se puede!
Go Adam K!
“Donald Trump has suffocated the Republican party.”
Perfectly understandable, and hard to believe anyone would expect to be given a privileged platform in this event for a purpose other than supporting the ticket. Even Republicans are there to do that.
That’s what I’m watching; on an iPad. It even works well on a slow connection. I think they’ve still got the previous days up, too. (I’ve had to go to bed well before they ended each night, so I’ve got a good bit to watch on future evenings.)
Adam Kinzinger’s speech was really powerful. He made a very clear contrast between classical conservativism and the cult of personality that’s taken over Republicans like a disease. I hope they played that on Fox (need our hero @Ann_Hedonia!)
I take it I either missed Pink. Or she got bumped.
She did sing, no speech though.
She was on; sang “What About Us?”
When?
Yes, thank you, exactly right. I wanted to post some of his specific comments but they were coming too fast for me to note them all.
In general, I’d say the various Republicans who have been featured have been very effective at making the distinction between the choice of democracy or the choice of a dark cult of self-serving tyranny – Kinzinger possibly the best of them all.
And now the nominee…
Roy Cooper named all the swing states that the Democrats have a crack at, starting with North Carolina.
I didn’t notice the time. Maybe an hour ago?
Between Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly. Kelly made a joke about Obama had to follow Michelle, but he had to follow Gabby and Pink.
I guess we’re not getting an astonishing surprise guest right before Kamala.
But hey – we’ve got Kamala. And I’m still awake!
Yep, it was about 9:35 EST.
Kamala appears at 10:31.
They kept to the timing.
Now we just have to get the balloons to fall properly.
Dammit, I might cry listening to these cheers.
