MSNBC did cut to a commercial (actually, several minutes of them) when that drum line performed. I didn’t get them either.
And she’s bringing it around back home, by mentioning her mother again, which is where she started. That’s how you do it. The sign of a great speaker.
Me, too. First convention where I actually want a book of the speeches.
To say the least. I’d be willing to bet she’d be the best president in a very long time. She has the eloquence of JFK.
She IS the real deal. I’m in tears.
Walz is very likeable.
Harris is Presidential. She’s legit.
This really should be a done deal.
I cannot vote for her, since I’m not an American. But I do know that my ex-wife, who is American, plans on voting for her. Something she never did (i.e. voting in an American election) in all the years we were together. If Harris can inspire my ex to vote remotely, then Harris really has something going for her.
Well, that was about as flawless a speech as we’ve heard all week. She hit every mark, made every point and is inspirational to the max.
It’s a good sign for our future.
And this has got to be the best-produced convention I’ve ever seen!

That was a long time for the balloon drop. Seems like something did not happen properly.
I have voted for POTUS in the past, happy to support the person, and I’ve voted because I couldn’t stand their opponent. But I’ve never felt this enthusiastic about a candidate before.
If you told me a few months ago that I’d feel this strong about Kamala I’d have said you are out of your mind.

I can’t believe that was the convention that was planned for Joe Biden. They must have torn up the script and rewritten it over the last month. And by golly, it worked!
30 minutes plus, close to 45?
The (Dixie) Chicks also did a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.
I took one for the team and switched briefly to OANN. Their crawl said things like “Army Veteran Breaks Record For Number Of Tattoos.” Priorities, folks.
Close to 45, I think. She started right around half-past… whatever time it was where you are. 
Yes, I was watching for 11 eastern.
Good enough, thanks. Biden went 48, Carter went 35. If Harris is, let’s say 41 or 42, or in that ballpark, she right up there with them. Good place to be.
