Although Kamala Harris is reviving the Clinton playbook, she has so far managed to avoid its biggest fumbles.

Some of this is due to political skill. I had a bout of covid a few weeks ago. Losing my smeller was a disturbing experience. But it was fairly mild – I got through it without any serious issues.

In 2020, I got the Moderna. Did not update since then, but I believe it helped keep the virus in check. And that is the thing with the DNC: just about everyone there had been vaxxed. It may have been a superspreader, but I would be surprised if any attendee will even be hospitalized because of it.

Oh exactly. It is no longer the novel coronavirus. Immunologically or psychologically. But if there is a population that is more likely to test to know, especially before they might expose someone at higher risk, I’d bet on there being more of them at the DNC than the RNC …
