I’m seeing good prices for their June 1 show in Chicago. Anyone seen them in concert lately? I’m a huge fan of their music up to Violator and absolutely loved Depeche Mode 101, the early live album. Is it worth snatching up tickets and getting familiar with some of their more recent work?
listen to their recent single “wheres the revolution” here :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsCR05oKROA it sets the tone of their last album
I’ve seen them live a few times, most recently last summer, and every time I’ve seen them they’ve absolutely killed it, just great shows.
If you’re curious on the mix of material they play, checkout their set lists on www.setlist.fm. Their most recent show had five songs out of twenty coming off the new album.

There one of my favorite bands. I’d love to see them live. Unfortuately, last time they were in my area it as $500 a pop for good seats. I don’t love them that much.
Plus, I can already hear myself yelling “play your old shit!”
I think I’m getting lucky on Stubhub since there’s also a Taylor Swift concert that night. Now, I know those two fanbases don’t necessarily overlap but hotel prices in Chicago have skyrocketed for that weekend as there is also a major convention in town. It isn’t uncommon for out of towners to dump concert and sports tickets that they may have bought months in advance when they see how high hotel rates are in Chicago.
Excellent link, thanks. I think I’ll take a listen to the latest album.
All reports from their show in DC a few weeks ago are glowing. But they are from fans.
It’s not my music but they played a show near me last year and people who are fans raved about it. You should definitely go.
