I wouldn’t have to go as far back as my grandparents to ask about the Nazis if the people involved were still alive. My father fought in WWII and ended up the war in Gross-Rosen. As for my grand father, he found the guns he needed. They came to hang him. Didn’t find him. They hanged someone else.

Well, if they come to hang me, and they DO find me, I’d rather be armed than not. Even if the rest of the population is ready to surrender - I’ll be fucked if I let them drag me off. I am not going to disgrace all the people before me who died fighting against tyranny, by failing to rise to the occasion.

I’ve got family who went to the gas chambers. It’s not going to happen again. My great grandfather killed a Russian policeman who was trying to loot his house in a Pogrom. He was able to go into hiding and then get over to America. Were it not for that one man with a rifle, I wouldn’t be here.
