I disagree with this assessment of him. I’m still waiting for a description of what he considers “not accepting” of transgendered people. Maybe it’s not technically an argument that I’m asking for a response to, but it seems rather important to the discussion in that thread to define the difference between acceptance and not-acceptance. I have a decent idea of what it is, but I don’t want to put words in his mouth.
I actually feel a little sorry for him. He sounds young, to me, and he’s apparently frustrated by his dating life, which he ascribes to his stature.
He could embrace his height, which might provide a natural advantage in certain sports (like powerlifting, gymnastics, or horse racing), or he could cultivate interesting talents (Prince, who was about his height, never had issues with getting laid) but instead he has allowed it to inspire bigotry and resentment towards others. I actually think he’s probably reasonably smart, but he lets his emotions get under his skin, and he lashes out with insipid arguments.
As you said, it’s ultimately harmless. And part of me thinks its curable. I wouldn’t have pitted him, but, I get what the OP is getting at.
