One of the few designers a lot of guys could name. Cindy Crawford in one of his “bandage dresses” is such an iconic image. He seemed to celebrate a woman’s form - sought to elevate, not denigrate or work out his issues on.
It is my understanding that while the dresses are sculptural and form fitting they were comfortable and that women think of him as a pro-woman’s form designer. If I have that misunderstood, sorry.
