Great episode. Lots of good storylines.
You know, compared to some of the news shows this season, like **Pushing Daisies ** or Journeyman, DH is starting to suffer.
I’m all for keeping someone in character, but does Susan *have * to be such a bumbling inept fool all the time? Does Gabby have to be such a clueless sex fiend all the time?
Please…having Edie watch Victor, Gabby, and Carlos all eagerly gobble crabcakes is a bit anvilicious, and I’m one with a high tolerance for anvils.
The only scene I truly went all schmoopy over was Tom and Lynette during the cancer bitch scene. Although I think Lynette has a perfect right to be self-centered during this time, the fact that she didn’t see Tom’s desire for escape as well was very nicely handled.
When I start to get either annoyed or impatient with the characters, it’s time for me to move on. Mike, Tom, Lynette, and Julie are keeping me around for now. But unless they stop with the obviously contrived plotlines, the writer’s strike may be the best thing for this show.
I was telling to Susan to shut up as soon as she greeted the new neighbors.
