Desperate Housewives 10/23

Renee drags Lynnette to a singles bar, while Susan deals with nude modeling in her art class.

Susan “deals with nude modeling”? She cleaned house in lingerie for money, what kind of “dealing with” does she need to do? She can’t possibly still have any prude in her, can she?

Not to mention that there’s no way she became a professional artist in the first place without doing some nude model painting.

Having known a lot of people in college who were art majors, I was thinking the same thing. There’s no way she could have gotten through art school without seeing at least a few nude models.

She probably wasn’t supposed to show up to class naked before, though.

Hey, it looks as if next week, they go to move the corpse but it probably isn’t there anymore.

Oh, that wacky Susan! Showed up at class stark nekked, tee-hee- oops! didn’t get the memo! And the art teacher showed up at her house? Do. Not. tell me he’s getting a crush on her.

I only really liked Lynette’s storyline last night. Everyone else’s seemed contrived and cartoonish, which is what it is, but too contrived and cartoonish.

Even sans the memo, you’d still show up and disrobe in class. Did she run across the parking lot naked?

I liked it too, until the cliche part where she saw her wedding ring and changed her mind about the whole thing. If they had just changed it up a little tiny bit and left the ring part out of it, it would have felt a bit less over done.

Also, I didn’t mind the mutiny on the PTA meeting thing. But I really didn’t care for drunk Carlos. Actually, I didn’t mind him showing up drunk, what I didn’t like is the PTA women suddenly assuming that he was an alcoholic and snapping into action. IMO the only way I’ll be okay is if she runs with that and plays the ‘poor me’ card for a while to keep them in line and doing her dirty work for them with bigger and bigger lies about what a terrible husband he is. Of course it’ll all come out at the end to smack her on her ass. I assume that’s where they’ll go with it since it seemed like she could have said “Oh, he’s fine, he was just at a work meeting at [very expensive high end bar], he must have had a bit too much to drink while he was closing that 10 million dollar deal”.
